The Ephesians Prayer

October 18, 2023

17 The God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, gives me the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in my knowledge of Him.

18 My spirit-man is not illiterate but intelligent in the matters of God; therefore, I know the hope to which He has called me, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints,

19 and His incomparably great power for me who believe—the power that is like the working of His mighty strength.

20 Which He performed in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places,

21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age, but also in the one to come:

22 And has put all things under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church,

23 Which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all (Eph. 1: 17-23).

14 I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,

16 My prayers are answered; therefore, I am, according to the riches of His glory strengthened with power by His Spirit in my inner being;

17 Christ has made my heart His home by faith; I am rooted and established in love,

18 empowered together with all the saints, I comprehend how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ,

19 I know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge — therefore, I am filled with all the fullness of God.

20 Now to Him who can do immeasurably more than all I request, guess, or imagine, according to His power that works within me,

21 To Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen (Eph. 3: 14-21).

18 empowered together with all the saints, I comprehend how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ,

19 Whenever I open my mouth, words are given me so that I fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel,

20 for which I am an ambassador. I declare it fearlessly, as I should.

23 Peace lives with me as a dearly beloved in Christ; I have love with faith from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

24 God’s grace is eternally mine because I love our Lord Jesus Christ with an undying and incorruptible love (Eph. 6: 18-20).
