Divorce and Remarriage

Divorce and remarriage is one of the hottest topics that divide the church and yet it has become a recurring decimal even among the Evangelicals. In the West, Christian marriage has been trivialized to its elastic limit while in Africa Churches, leaders are often highhanded, at times, to ridiculous and ungodly extent. In this work, Emmanuel Baba-Lola bluntly and carefully enumerated misconceptions about Biblical marriage and concluded that God hates divorce. Period.

However, God did not forbid divorce while Scriptures show the responsibilities of Church Elders in determining the possibilities of remarriage based on individual merit.
